When I was in 5th grade I decided I wanted to be a dentist because of the stories I began to learn of my grandfather. In short, he was a dentist who was forced to use his skills as a prisoner in the concentration camps in WWII. These skills earned him slightly better treatment than other prisoners, allowing him to aid in the protection and even the escape of some prisoners. Hearing these stories inspired me. As the dream of becoming a dentist grew so did the idea of a tooth shaped building. As I grew older I realized this is far fetched but my sister drew this cartoon as a continuous reminder of those dreams.
